Availability
Treks run every day except Tuesday and Wednesday. They run throughout the year but are weather dependent. It is important that you pre-book this activity.
We recommend you book at least 4 weeks in advance. All dates are subject to availability.
On the Day
Please arrive 10-15 minutes before your allocated time slot. This allows for any toilet visits and to allow for any navigating issues.
This is a 2.5 hour experience. 15 minutes initial safety and handling session, followed by a 2 hour trek, before a 15 minute feeding session at the end.
What to Wear
We recommend wearing hill walking boots. If you do not own any, these are available to hire for £5 if required. Please dress appropriately for the weather. We advise bringing a day pack with water, gloves, hat, extra jumper and waterproof jacket.
Activity Guidelines
There is parking available on site.
No dogs allowed on site- Our alpaca and llama friends don’t get on with them sadly.
No under 16’s allowed due to health and safety reasons.
All visitors under 18 yrs must be accompanied by a parent as part of the booking.
We recommend a good level of fitness on uneven, steep terrain in all weathers. This is not a fast activity, but it is mountainous and has technical tracks.
In summer months, the Farm Café opens but closes in winter months.
No accompanying walkers on mixed group treks. All walkers must be paid for as part of the booking with either 1 llama per person or 1 llama between 2 people.
You may book an additional voucher and book as a group with multiple Date Night Away vouchers, subject to availability.
