Here, the open sea meets the ragged mountains, and the windswept town lets every lover live out their Highlander dreams.
Home of Clan MacDonald, this area of north eastern Scotland hosts stunning valleys bordered by impressive cliffs, shocks of heather, and moody mountaintops.
Visit in winter for snow-studded magic, or in summer for hiking, biking, and riding opportunities with your loved one. Dine in opulence or tour one of the whiskey distilleries. The options for cosy nights in front of the roaring fire are endless in the Glen Coe.
On route to Glencoe is a road deemed Scotland’s most beautiful road to travel down – Glen Etive.
Take in the outstanding views of Buachaille Etive Mor with 20 runs and 8 lifts. Glencoe Mountain Resort caters for all levels, with beginners enjoying gentle runs, whilst the experts can challenge themselves on the longest and steepest runs in Scotland.
The resort caters for skiing, snowboarding, sledging and hill walking, alongside offering home baked food and stunning panoramic photo opportunities.
